Ahmad Javad – 120

A scientific conference on the theme of “Eternity of independence poetry” devoted to Ahmad Javad’s 120th anniversary was held on November 8, 2012 at Baku Business University. The conference was declared open by the rector of the university professor, Doctor of Economics Ibad Abbasov. He gave brief information about Ahmad Javad’s life and activities. Doctors of Philology Alkhan Bayramoglu, Asif Rustamli, the writer Manzar Niyazli, Doctor of Philosophy of culture studies Fatimat Mammadova, and the teacher of the university, Candidate of Philology Fidan Abdurahmanova reported on poet’s life and activities. At the end the students of the university presented poet’s poems to the accompaniment of music to the participants of the conference.
