An event called "Autism Awareness"
On April 03, 2023, an event called "Autism awareness" dedicated to April 02 "World Autism Awareness Day" was held under the organization of the "Humanities" department. At the event, the head of the "Humanities" department, PhD Aysel Gasimova welcomed the guests and participants and declared the event open. Aytan Eynalova, the chairman of "Joint and healthy" Public Union, gave information about the activities of the Public Union and also spoke as a parent of a child with autism syndrome. Later, Narmin Rahimli, Education Coordinator of the Autism Center under the "Joint and healthy" Public Union, spoke about "What is autism spectrum disorder?", "How to deal with autistic people?" touched on the most relevant issues of interest today. In addition, a video showing the activities of the Public Union was presented and the event concluded with a question-and-answer session. In the end, a special "Blue lighting" action was held for the "General Autism Awareness Day", blue balloons were symbolically released into the sky by the participants of the event in the courtyard of the University.
