Memorandum on cooperation between Baku Business University and Special Communication and Information Security State Service

Head of the State Service of Special Communication and Information Security of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Lieutenant General Ilgar Musayev, along with a group of employees of the Service, visited Baku Business University. The head of the service and the rector of the University laid bouquets of flowers in the corner dedicated to the bust of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and the dear memory of our martyrs.
Rector of Baku Business University, Professor Ibad Abbasov, introduced the guests to the University and informed about the specialties taught at the University, innovations and projects related to information technology and cyber security. The representatives of SCİS got acquainted with the material and technical base of the University, the ICT laboratories operating here, the "Information Technologies" department, the real teaching environment, the educational conditions of the students, and the modern electronic library with a rich variety.
The head of the SCİS gave detailed information about the main directions of the cyber security strategy in our country, state support in this field, innovative projects implemented by the Service and measures implemented in the field of cyber security in relation to state bodies. Also, Ilgar Musayev noted that as a result of successive targeted measures, the field of information security has entered a new stage of development and development in this field continues at a fast pace. The head of the service emphasized that one of the main goals is to pay great attention to the development of education in the field of cyber security in our country and to form and further improve the personnel base in this field.
Later, a Memorandum on cooperation was signed between the Special Communication and Information Security State Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Baku Business University. It was noted that the Memorandum of Cooperation will be implemented for the purpose of training highly qualified personnel with the mutual benefit of education-science-innovation infrastructure, implementation of innovation-oriented joint activities in the fields of cyber security and information technologies, mutual exchange of technology, information and experience.
The signing ceremony was attended by the head of the Special Communications and Information Security State Service, Lieutenant General Ilgar Musayev, the Rector of Baku Business University, Professor Ibad Abbasov, and representatives from both sides.
