
On the occasion of February 2 – Azerbaijan Youth Day, a meeting with young people was organized at Baku Business University in cooperation with the Karabakh Training Center. The main purpose of the event was to support the personal development of young people, strengthen their sense of patriotism, increase social activity, and promote commitment to national and moral values.
The meeting began with an opening speech by the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Javidan Heydarov. In his speech, he emphasized the important role of Azerbaijani youth in the country’s future, highlighting the significance of their intellectual development, the formation of national consciousness, and their active participation in public life.
At the event, Aytan Mammadova, Head of the Karabakh Training Center, spoke about the importance of enhancing youth social responsibility, developing personal skills, and continuously working on self-improvement in line with modern challenges. She also provided detailed information about the activities of the Karabakh Training Center, including training programs, awareness-raising projects, seminars, practical sessions aimed at youth development, and the services offered by the center.
Later, the University’s psychologist delivered a presentation on topics such as personal development, psychological resilience, motivation, and self-management skills of young people. The presentation was met with great interest by participants and led to an extensive exchange of ideas.
At the end of the event, certificates of appreciation were presented to a number of students who distinguished themselves through active participation in the University’s social and public life. The speakers highly appreciated the initiative and responsibility of young people, noting that they are the main driving force behind the University’s future development.
