Training Program for Uzbek Students Held at Baku Business University

Another important initiative aimed at supporting international cooperation and the professional development of students has been implemented at Baku Business University. From May 12 to 15, 2026, the University organized an international training program titled “Women’s Entrepreneurship and Business English Development Program” with the participation of students from Uzbekistan and students majoring in Translation at Baku Business University.

Within the framework of the program, participants became closely acquainted with Baku Business University and received detailed information about the University’s educational opportunities and international cooperation activities. During the opening session, guests were introduced to the University through a presentation, and the main objectives of the program were presented.

On the first day of the training program, participants attended a series of seminars and practical sessions dedicated to women’s entrepreneurship. The sessions, conducted by representatives of the Association for the Development of Women’s Entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan (AWEDA), covered topics such as entrepreneurial mindset, women’s leadership, business idea development, identifying market needs, innovative thinking, personal branding, fundamentals of marketing, financial literacy, and communication skills.

During the following days of the program, practical training sessions in Business English were organized for Uzbek students by lecturers of the Department of Languages of Baku Business University and Blanka Anna Vizi, a lecturer from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. During the sessions, participants improved their knowledge and skills in professional communication, business English, business correspondence, drafting formal emails, presentation skills, public speaking techniques, and effective communication in the workplace. Practical workshops were also conducted on the use of digital tools and AI-based platforms in language learning.

At the final session held on May 15, participants attended training sessions on employment and career development. During the training conducted by Zeynab Hasanova, Head of the Career Planning Department and representative of the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan, topics such as career planning, professional skills development, time management, digital skills, and professional networking were discussed.

At the end of the program, participants were awarded certificates.
