
A job fair was organized at Baku Business University jointly with the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the event, the Rector of Baku Business University, Professor Ibad Abbasov, stated that the University prioritizes a skills-based education model aligned with the demands of the labor market. He noted that in the modern era, the rapid development of digital technologies further increases the importance of professional skills, and the educational process at Baku Business University is built precisely on this approach. The Rector also emphasized that the University is preparing to graduate approximately 600 bachelor’s students and nearly 100 master’s students this year, and that such job fairs serve as an important career platform for graduates.
Deputy Chairman of the Board of the State Employment Agency Elshan Mahmudov, in his speech, particularly emphasized the importance of organizing such job fairs at educational institutions in the modern period. He noted that such events play a significant role in integrating students and graduates into the labor market and create major career opportunities for them.
At the job fair, around 300 vacancies were presented by 50 employers. Participants were provided with detailed information about available vacancies, employment conditions, and career opportunities, and CVs were accepted.
