
From May 11 to 15, 2026, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Baku Business University, Associate Professor Khatira Azizova, and University representative, PhD in Economics Ilknur Rajabli, paid a working visit to the International Business School of Bulgaria within the framework of an inter-university exchange program.
During the visit, the participants attended official meetings with the management, academic staff, and coordinators of the International Business School, exchanging views on international cooperation in higher education, academic mobility, and future partnership opportunities. Meetings organized with representatives of universities from different countries played an important role in strengthening international academic relations.
On May 13, Baku Business University was also represented at the international roundtable entitled “Sustainable Development, Digital Transformations and Public Policies: International Academic Perspectives.” During the event, representatives of higher education institutions from various countries shared their experiences and delivered presentations on sustainable development, digital transformation, and international perspectives on contemporary public policies.
At the roundtable, representatives of Baku Business University presented information on the University’s internationalization strategy, academic development priorities, and initiatives implemented in the field of digitalization. Discussions were also held on opportunities for academic cooperation, joint projects, and future mobility programs.
As part of the visit, an official meeting was also held with Georgi Apostolov. During the meeting, the parties discussed the expansion of international cooperation in higher education, faculty and student mobility, as well as prospects for the development of joint academic initiatives.
