Scientific Seminar Dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan Held in Budapest
On May 25, 2026, on the occasion of May 28 – Independence Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan, a scientific seminar was held at the Azerbaijan House operating in Budapest, Hungary.
The seminar, titled “From History to Modernity Through the Eyes of Youth,” was conducted by Ganira Mirzaxanli, a history lecturer at the Department of Humanities of Baku Business University. During the event, participants were provided with detailed information about the history of Azerbaijan’s independence, the protection of national interests in the international arena, statehood traditions, the importance of preserving the Azerbaijani language, and the transmission of national memory to future generations.
The seminar also featured extensive discussions on the historical legacy of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, the path leading to the restoration of Azerbaijan’s independence, and the achievements of modern Azerbaijan. The event was met with great interest by participants and continued with active discussions.
