Event dedicated to "International Social Work Day"

On 15.03.2024, an event dedicated to the "International Day of Social Work" was held at Baku Business University under the organization of the "Humanities" department. The event was declared open with the speech of the head of that department, Professor Sabir Amirkhanov. At the event, Chief of Staff of the "State Committee on Family, Women and Children's Problems" Jeyran Rahmatullayeva, Associate Professor Sadagat Aliyeva, Vice-Rector for Science and Creative Affairs of Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts, Sara Aghayeva, Head of the National Program on Disability and Rehabilitation of the World Health Organization, Social Services Agency Ahmet Mansurov, Deputy Director of the Department of Work with Children Deprived of Parental Care, Ulkar Shahbazova, Deputy Director of the Department of Human Resources Management of the Social Services Agency, and Elvin Ibrahimov, Director of the Department of Public Relations and Organization of Events of the DOST Center for Inclusive Development and Creativity, participated in their speeches. Detailed answers were given to students' questions. At the event, a video prepared by 3rd-year students studying "Social work" was presented on domestic violence, and at the end, a forum-theater created by social work students in the context of family relations was shown.
