"State Independence Day" was celebrated at Baku Business University

On October 16, 2015, an event dedicated to "State Independence Day" was held at Baku Business University. A group of schoolchildren from secondary schools of Yasamal and Sabail regions also participated in the event. The Rector of the University, Professor I.M. Abbasov, opened the event and congratulated the meeting participants on the occasion of the 24th anniversary of our State Independence. He then talked about the achievements of the Republic of Azerbaijan in different fields so far. Later, Doctor of History I. Agasiyev introduced the participants to the maps of different years reflecting the ancient history of Azerbaijan and gave information about the territories of Azerbaijan in different historical periods and the events that happened.
