Meeting with representatives of the Education Student Loan Fund
Today, a meeting was held between representatives of the Education Student Loan Fund and representatives of Baku Business University. The meeting also focused on cooperation between the two institutions.
During the meeting, Bahruz Azimov, Deputy Chairman of the Foundation and Agja Mammadova, an employee of the Foundation, gave detailed information about the activities of the Foundation established under the Ministry of Education, application rules to the Fund, criteria for issuing student loans. Discussed about the students registered for the 2021 - 2022 academic year, after the presentation of the Foundation's employees on student loans, the questions of the responsible persons and students were answered, and the proposals were registered. It was noted that the main purpose of the Foundation's activities is to ensure access to education through the student loan system.
It was noted that 131 applications from Baku Business University were registered at the TTKF during the autumn semester: 58 students were given social loans and 73 students were given standard loans.
Vice Rector for Academic Affairs of Baku Business University, Assoc. Khatira Azizova said it was very important to create a credit fund to pay tuition fees for students.
Deputy Chairman of the Education Student Loan Fund Bahruz Azimov informed the meeting participants about the activities of the organization. He noted that in the autumn semester of the 2021-2022 academic year, applications for loans have been received through the portal created by the fund. Azimov also said that a series of meetings were held with universities and requirements in order to promote the principles of the Education Student Loan Fund.
The meeting was attended by BBU Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Azizova Khatira, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management, Assoc. Afida Hasanova, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Management, Ph.D. Shahin Musayev, Director of the Student Admission and Public Relations Center Ali Bagirzade, Assistant Rector Javidan Heydarov, Chairman of the Student Youth Organization Turan Abbasli were present.
